TextDiff is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe that a text comparison tool should never require you to trust a third party with your data.
TextDiff processes all text comparisons entirely within your browser. The text you enter is never sent to any server, stored in any database, or transmitted over the network. When you close or refresh the page, your text is gone.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party advertising or marketing services. Your only stored preference is your theme choice (light/dark), which is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count anonymous page views. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not track you across sites — only aggregate visit counts. No personal information is collected. The text you enter is never accessible to the analytics layer; it operates only on the page URL.
TextDiff does not require registration, login, or any personal information. There are no user accounts, no email collection, and no personal data processing.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested) as part of their infrastructure. This is standard for any website and is governed by Vercel's Privacy Policy.
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Since we don't collect contact information, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
